Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical (5N) position with oncology experience preferred and a night shift schedule including every other weekend.

Details

• Hospital-based Medical Surgical unit (5N)
• Oncology patient exposure is common on this unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, on a 4x12 schedule
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• 13-week contract with the possibility of extension
• Cerner EMR in use

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS certification required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Two manager or charge nurse references (within the past year) required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security card required for consideration
