Job Summary:
This medical surgical rehabilitation floor nursing position is located in a healthcare facility and involves caring for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The role entails providing acute inpatient and acute hospital rehabilitation care, supporting patients through various treatments, managing medical devices, and adhering to safety and quality standards to promote patient recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5/8 DAYS, 0700-1530; Float to medical-surgical units as needed; weekend requirement depending on unit needs
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (CA RN) license; BLS; at least 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical rehabilitation or similar setting; experience with acute inpatient rehab, administration of blood and blood products, anticoagulation therapy, ventilated patient care, central line care (PICC lines), wound care, and stroke scale assessment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health records systems, high patient acuity management, and certification in advanced life support or specialty areas is advantageous
• Additional Information: Candidates must meet all compliance requirements including labs completion within 3-5 days of contract signing, 7-year work history verification, and timely submission of all documentation 10 days prior to start date. The role involves working in interdisciplinary teams supporting patient care standards and safety goals.
