Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Nurse in an acute care facility on the night shift. This role involves providing direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients, managing complex nursing interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position is scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, beginning on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027, with a minimum of 36 hours per week and two years of experience preferred.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); 2 years of clinical experience; experience with patient ratios of 1:6; proficiency in interpretation of dysrhythmias, Infection Control Precautions and Personal Protective Equipment, management of cardiac drips (no titration), dysrhythmia management, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care; a valid State or Compact license and compliance with travel submission rules.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on a medical-surgical unit, knowledge of electronic charting systems, previous travel experience.
Patient Care Details: Care for adult and geriatric patients, daily census of 30, with diagnoses including pneumonia, respiratory failure/COPD, sepsis, AKI, chest pain, cellulitis, AMS.
Additional Information: Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and pharmacy. Orientation hours are 12.
Travel & Compliance: Must meet state or compact license requirements, with all onboarding completed within 48 hours of contract signing. No travel residents from specified counties are eligible; all RTO and prior traveler restrictions apply.
