Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Austin, TX. This 13-week contract assignment involves night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at a state-of-the-art surgical telemetry unit. The role requires providing exceptional post-surgical care to a diverse patient population, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient satisfaction through daily rounds and attentive care.

- Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, critical thinking skills, over a year of nursing experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work day or night shifts as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, experience working with orthopedic, neuro, urology, thyroidectomy, hysterectomy, and DIEP procedures. Ability to relay relief charge and connect well with patients and team members.
- Additional Information: The unit features updated equipment including CPM, T-stat, and wound vac. Staff benefits from self-scheduling, flexible shifts, and a collaborative working environment dedicated to patient care and satisfaction. Taking breaks during the 12-hour shifts is mandatory.
