Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Tulsa, OK 74104

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), with option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend coverage required. 5:1 patient ratio.

Highlights:

• 13-week assignment on a 24-bed medical surgical unit with renal emphasis
• Work with diverse patient populations including ESRD, urology, AKI, diabetic complications, and general medical-surgical diagnoses
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the unit
• 24-36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful transition
• Flexibility to choose between 36 or 48-hour work weeks

Requirements:

• Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of medical surgical nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 6:1 patient ratios preferred
• Skills required: isolation precautions/PPE, med/surg, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to like units as needed
• Candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted
