Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend coverage required with 2 shifts per pay period, flexible with department needs. Patient ratio 1:6.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 48-bed Medical Surgical unit with diverse patient population
• Work with a wide range of patient diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, trauma, cardiac conditions, post-operative care, and more
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Float opportunities available when competencies are met
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from location
