Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with weekend coverage required (2 shifts per pay period). Patient ratio 1:6. Orientation includes 24-36 hours.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic Medical Surgical unit with 48 beds and diverse patient populations
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Care for a wide variety of patient diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, post-operative care, trauma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, and more
• Epic charting system with opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills in wound care, central line management, chest tubes, and specialty procedures
• Flexible scheduling with one pre-approved time off period and float opportunities based on competencies

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of application
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:6 preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from the area
• Proficiency in Med/Surg skills including IV management, blood product administration, wound care, and isolation precautions
