Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in a day shift setting at a healthcare organization is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time assignment. The position involves providing patient care on a 30-bed unit, supporting post-surgical, pain management, and other medical-surgical procedures. The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and excellent communication skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: Day Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical or acute care settings, and current meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR) proficiency
Preferred Qualifications: Previous hospital experience, prior HCA healthcare system experience
Additional Information:
Unit supports both day and night shifts with staffing ratios of 6:1 for patients
Equipment used includes Hoyer lifts, sara steady, and bladder scanners
Typical procedures include post-surgical care such as cholecystectomy, cystoscopy with stent placement, pain management, and care for CIWA patients
The unit has a dynamic, high-energy team suitable for outgoing and adaptable nurses
