Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of experience for a day-shift position with a 1:6 patient ratio.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM)
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required
• Utilizes Epic charting system
• Provides cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Performs interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Cares for telemetry, respiratory, and tracheostomy patients

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS and CPI certification preferred
• Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must have separated employment for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Non-billable orientation modules (2-3 hours) must be completed during orientation
