Job Summary Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves providing patient care across various units within a short-term acute care facility. The position offers opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations, supporting health and recovery at a trauma level II center.
Job Details
Position Description: 1st timer for medical surgical nursing. Position involves floating between units with a focus on adult and geriatric care, requiring adherence to hospital dress code and parking policies.
Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current RN license with at least 1 year of experience in medical surgical nursing required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Additional Job Details: Position may require working 4 patients per shift during days, nights, and weekends, with flexibility to float between units. Refusal to float may lead to termination. Must work three of five specified holidays. Must meet specific experience and license requirements, including a valid state or compact license.
Submission Requirements: Must include response to whether candidate has previous experience at a Providence facility, with location and dates, as well as two references covering the last three years, including at least one from a charge nurse or lead RN.
