The position requires flexibility to float between units within a 35-mile radius, based on staffing needs and patient acuity.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: License verification, professional ascension badge photo, drivers license/state ID, ascension profile, two professional references, and resume.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in medical-surgical nursing.

Additional Information:
Floating between units/facilities within a 35-mile radius may be required based on staffing needs, patient census, and acuity.
The unit provides post-operative surgical care to general surgery patients, including those with bowel obstruction, wound infection, gastrointestinal cancers, and morbid obesity.
Patients are hemodynamically stable and do not require mechanical ventilation.
The patient population served includes young adult through late adult (18-60+).
Nurse to patient ratio is 1:6 with a variable staffing grid including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and NIs.
Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test and BLS certification are required.
