Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse position located at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit, with a focus on acute care and patient safety. The position is scheduled to start on October 5, 2026, and will run through January 4, 2027, with rotating night shifts.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Compact or Alabama (AL) registered nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Cerner electronic medical record experience preferred, at least 1 year of nursing experience, current home address, and Social Security Number (SSN).
Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience is preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required to other units as needed.
Additional Information:
This is a contractor replacement position for a Medical Surgical Floor nurse.
The position requires submission of travelers with current home address and SSN, and candidates must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
The specific responsibilities include caring for adult patients with various medical conditions, documenting patient information using Cerner EMR, and adhering to hospital policies.
