Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical (RN)

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in various specialties, including urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular. This role requires a dedicated and knowledgeable nurse to deliver exceptional patient care while adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical/surgical specialty
• Active nursing license verification through Nursys
• Current certification card
• Completion of a skills checklist
• Strong professional references

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed by the healthcare provider
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-treatment care

Additional Information

Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is required. All candidates must submit a complete profile, including a work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days and a badge-appropriate picture.
