Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a busy acute care setting. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional with a commitment to patient safety and effective communication, supporting the hospital's mission to deliver comprehensive healthcare services in a professional environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing; current nursing license; any location acceptable; no specific educational degree required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, IV and NG insertion skills, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to any medical-surgical area within scope
  • Additional Information: Orientation scheduled to begin on 02/09/2026 with ongoing updates throughout the year
