Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in a hospital setting located in the United States. This position involves working on a 14-bed medical-surgical unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5. The shift is scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing a full-time schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift hours, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid healthcare professional (HCP) license in the state of practice; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 1 year of experience on a medical-surgical unit; ability to work the scheduled days and hours.
Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: This role requires working on a 14-bed medical-surgical unit with an emphasis on patient care for adult populations. Candidates must be able to manage a patient load of up to 5 patients per nurse during day shifts, adhering to hospital and unit SOPs.
