- Schedule: Weekend coverage required; may float to acute care/MedSurg units

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment with a patient ratio around 1:5
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to float between similar units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients with surgical, trauma, and overflow medical needs
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and support treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
- Support common Med/Surg procedures and therapies including IV therapy, wound care, drains, oxygen therapy, and isolation precautions
- Contribute to a collaborative unit culture focused on patient safety, efficiency, and excellent outcomes
