Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Danville, Virginia. This role involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical Floor within a community hospital setting. The position offers a pivotal opportunity to serve patients across all ages in a well-established facility with a range of comprehensive services.
Job Details:
- Location: Danville, VA
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical specialty
- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and call requirements as needed
- Required Qualifications: Virginia RN licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), minimum of 1 year of experience, degree or certification as an RN
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience, previous experience with Meditech electronic health record system
- Additional Information:
- Unit serves all age groups with a patient ratio of 1:6
- Unit includes 24 beds with comprehensive surgical, emergency, and outpatient services
- Must have required certifications prior to start and consent for drug screening and criminal background check
- Dress code: Scrubs (any color), casual wear is not accepted
