- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float between Med/Surg units
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand before start
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Nursys verification required with submission
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Must be available to complete required onboarding items within 72 hours of accepting an offer
- RTO must be included at the time of submission
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality care to Medical-Surgical patients across assigned units
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using strong clinical judgment
- Administer medications and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Support adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of medical and surgical needs
- Float between Med/Surg units as needed to support patient care and staffing needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established facility protocols
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff to promote quality patient outcomes
