Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time position involves providing patient care on the medical-surgical unit, ensuring quality, safe, and efficient care delivery in accordance with organizational standards. The role requires coordinating assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to meet patient needs and promote positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact license, BLS certification from American Heart Association, 2 years of experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, ability to communicate effectively with patients of various developmental ages
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Will float to all Medical/Surgical departments under the organizations team
• Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• EMR Used: EPIC
• Responsibilities: Obtain and record initial assessments, prioritize patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, evaluate patient outcomes, perform point-of-care testing, coordinate team assignments, participate in staff orientation, and promote a positive work environment.
• Customer Relations: Demonstrates professional communication, respect for patient rights, and fosters teamwork to ensure high patient and customer satisfaction.
• Other Responsibilities: Assists with special projects, interprets policies, maintains flexibility, and adheres to safety policies.
