Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse in a teaching hospital setting, located in an unspecified location. This position involves working in the Diabetic Renal Unit (DRMU) with a focus on patient care, requiring flexibility to meet the scheduling needs of the unit. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, starting on 10/05/2026, with a commitment through 02/20/2027, and involves working at least one major holiday.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in relevant specialty, active VA or Compact license required at time of submission, BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Teaching hospital/Charge experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation is not required.
• Additional Information: Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions. Candidates must have charge nurse experience, complete with appropriate pay differential and training. The assignment may last up to 20 weeks, with the possibility of working at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day). All release to return (RTO) requests must be included in the application packet. The client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to each shift due to census variations. This role involves engaging with students and new hires regularly, emphasizing a supportive culture.
