Unit: 10-bed Rapid Admission Unit
Patient Type: General medical patients & surgical patients awaiting surgery
Ratio:5:1
Experience: Minimum 2 years recent specialty experience
Certifications:BLS & ACLS required
Work Style: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Unit Pace: Rapid patient turnover; higher admission/discharge volume than a typical Med/Surg unit
Holiday Requirement: Must work Thanksgiving Day OR the day after Thanksgiving, plus either:
Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, OR
New Year's Eve & New Year's Day
