Job Summary: The Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care in a hospital setting within a healthcare organization located in Midland, Michigan. The nurse will perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient care. This position requires proficiency in medical/surgical nursing and adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Job Details:
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan nursing license; 2 years of medical-surgical experience; current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; experience with Epic electronic health record system; must have at least 2 years of relevant work history; work in a facility with a 50-mile radius restriction from the candidate's permanent address in Midland, Michigan.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel work experience; Epic experience.
Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for regularly assessing patient needs, providing skilled nursing services, administering medications and treatments, and evaluating treatment effectiveness. Submission requirements include two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years and verification of active Michigan nursing licensure.
