Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse Location: MS. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients on a medical-surgical unit. The nurse will utilize the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies to monitor and evaluate patient functional status and deliver individualized care.

Position: Registered Nurse, Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor, Location: MS
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Skills & Experience: Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing; holds or is entitled to hold a valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS through AHA; Epic Experience; minimum 2 years of experience.
Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process in caring for assigned patients; completes assessment and individualized plan of care within established guidelines; considers cultural and psychosocial factors; organizes and prioritizes nursing skills appropriate for the patient population; anticipates patient and unit needs; demonstrates a sound knowledge base including bio-psychosocial aspects; delegates and communicates effectively; demonstrates professional judgment; documents care concisely and accurately using correct medical terminology; addresses problems and progress towards outcomes; facilitates patient teaching and discharge planning; makes timely referrals; collaborates with other disciplines; supports unit/hospital goals through PI and educational activities; attends mandatory in-services; completes variance reports accurately; exercises independent judgment; collaborates directly with patients and healthcare team members.
