Here are the details of the contract:
Location: Aiken, SC
Job Title: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse
Shift: Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Traveler Requirement: Must reside 100 miles from the facility.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- 6 months of Travel RN experience required
- Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
- Active RN License in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
- NIHSS, BLS & ACLS required
- CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training) required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- BSN highly preferred
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Complete admissions, discharges, and patient education while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
