Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Indianapolis, IN. This position involves delivering direct patient care in a 20-bed medical surgical unit within an acute care facility. The RN will be responsible for managing a nurse to patient ratio of 5:1, providing care during day shifts, and floating to other units when needed.

Job Details

  • Location: Indianapolis, IN
  • Shift: 3 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Indiana or compact RN license, minimum of 1 year Med/Surg experience, BLS certification through AHA, and basic proficiency with EPIC and PYXIS systems
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a 20-bed unit, familiarity with departmental orientation, general orientation, EPIC training, and Jumpstart program participation
  • Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, attending general and departmental orientation, and adhering to dress code standards
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
