Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work on the Oncology Unit (Lunder 9) within a hospital setting
• Oncology patient population, with heme malignancy experience preferred but not required
• 36 hours per week on a day/night rotating shift schedule
• Required to work every other weekend
• Holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross also accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of oncology or Med/Surg nursing experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Primary source license verification required through NURSYS and BON within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, with exposure to heme malignancy cases
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
