Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring 3 years of experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Unit (White 8) of a hospital setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:00
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Interpret plans of medical care and apply clinical decision-making for nursing care
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
• Record vital signs and patients' medical information
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions
• Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and condition
• Screen and triage acute patients accurately
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
• Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
