Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse - Neenah, WI. This role involves providing direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical setting on a 12-hour night shift at a healthcare organization. The position requires extensive experience and is part of a contract assignment designed to support operational needs during specific shifts and rotations within the facility.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, starting at 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The shift may involve every weekend or every other weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications: WI RN License, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, a minimum of 3+ years of experience as an RN, including at least 1 travel contract, and recent charting experience with Electronic Patient Record (EPIC) within the last year.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Med/Surg, COVID-19, pre-post catheterization, post pacemaker, TR Bands, and pediatric patients (although rare).
Float: Float rotation may be required across all ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius, within the candidates skillset.
Additional Information: Candidate must be able to demonstrate resilience, adaptability to change, and dedication to hard work. Scrub colors are black. The primary patient cases involve Medical/Surgical, with specific experience in COVID patients and interventions related to pre-post cath procedures and pacemakers.
