Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Antigo, Wisconsin. This position involves working on a 16-bed unit with variable nurse-to-patient ratios, primarily during 12-hour day and night rotating shifts. The role requires flexibility to float to other facilities in the region and adherence to clinical policies, including vaccination requirements during flu season.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, D/N variable
• Schedule: Shifts totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) in hand at time of submission, minimum of 2+ years of Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience, charting experience with Epic preferred, highly prefer candidates able to read and interpret Telemetry.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to float to Aspirus Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley. The unit has a nurse-patient ratio typically ranging from 4-5 during days, 5-6 during evenings, and 6-7 during nights. The contract includes 36 hours of unbillable low census hours, and travelers may be placed on call during low census hours, which will count toward these hours. Call back pay applies with a minimum of 2 hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times, with no exceptions.
