Job Summary: Medical Surgical (MS) nurse specializing in adult and pediatric surgical units is sought for a position starting on 09/21/2026 on a days shift. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care, administering medications and treatments following established protocols, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The position may require float to other units as needed and includes working every other weekend and holiday.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid Wisconsin (WI) nursing license; current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; CPR/BLS certification; verification of education; experience in adult surgical units; minimum of 0 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric patients; ability to float to other units; strong teamwork and critical thinking skills
Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process while documenting according to standards of care. Develops patient care plans tailored to individual needs and participates in performance improvement activities. Critical thinking is essential for patient safety and quality care.
