Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Medical Surgical Floor nursing in Alexandria, Louisiana, will provide routine and complex nursing care within a basic medical-surgical unit. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification from AHA, RN license in the state of Louisiana or in a compact state, 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty preferred, no minimum experience required if otherwise qualified
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The role demands a professional capable of working independently, making appropriate assessments, administering medications and treatments, and providing patient education. The nurse will be responsible for addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, utilizing proper protocols and documenting care appropriately. The position is a full-time night shift opportunity with no on-call requirement.
