Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves providing care to adult patients across various populations, including medicine, surgery, cardiac, and neurology. The RN will be responsible for working in a fast-paced environment with established ratios and floating to other units as needed, utilizing EPIC electronic medical record system.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend shift.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical, telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU); EPIC electronic medical record/charting experience; at least 1 year of travel nursing experience; 1 year of level 1 adult trauma hospital experience or equivalent within the last 5 years; experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital; ability to float to other equivalent units as needed.
- Additional Information: The RN will be assigned based on experience, working primarily in a Med Surg/telemetry/PCU unit with populations including medicine, surgery, cardiac, and neurology. The unit's typical patient ratios are 1:5-6, and the RN may be required to float to other units as operationally needed.
