Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) registered nurse position located in Wausau, WI. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, with a focus on adult respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal issues, diabetes management, renal failure, and other infectious or acute conditions. The position requires a resilient, adaptable, and team-oriented professional to work 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12 hour nights, shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: WI RN License, BLS from AHA or ARC, associate degree or certificate, 2 years of experience (experience in trauma level II highly preferred)
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
• Charting Experience: EPIC required
• Float: Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Additional Information: On-call requirements include 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, typically in 4-hour increments, not considered on call. Every other weekend and holiday work are expected. During flu season, vaccination non-compliance requires masks at all times.
• Certification: Valid WI RN License and BLS- AHA or ARC
