Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.

Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

$2,250 weekly gross pay

Location: Utica, NY

Schedule: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
EMR: EPIC
Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical experience
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Current, active New York RN license
  • AHA BLS required
  • Current Nursys license verification
  • All active RN licenses must be documented
  • Up-to-date resume documenting MS and travel experience
  • Skills checklist matching specialty
  • RTO must be submitted at the time of submission
  • Driver's license with address matching candidate demographics

Unit Details

  • Adult Medical/Surgical unit
  • Floating required
  • Block scheduling is not guaranteed
  • Common patient diagnoses include:
    • Post-surgical care
    • Abdominal pain
    • Cholelithiasis
    • Osteoarthritis
    • Fractures
    • Back pain
    • Morbid obesity/bariatric surgery
  • Specialty equipment includes IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes

Additional Information

  • 36 guaranteed hours/week
  • Both local and travel candidates accepted
  • Local candidates must reside within 75 miles and will receive the local rate
