Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in Dothan, AL, and make a difference in patient care! Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Surgical RN.
• Certifications required: BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred.
• Proficient in administering cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.
• Must be able to work with a patient ratio of 1:6-7.
• Pending licenses are acceptable; however, previous permanent staff are ineligible for travel for 10 years.
• Scrubs: Navy Blue.
• 90-mile radius rule; no locals accepted.

This position features a day shift schedule of 4x12 hours from 07:00 to 19:00, with block scheduling available. The unit primarily focuses on orthopedic care but may have medical-surgical and telemetry overflow.
