The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position is based on the Medical Surgical floor at a healthcare facility located in Hermiston, Oregon. Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
    • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
    • Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification
    • Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience
    • CRASE training (if assignment extends beyond 6 months)
  • Additional Information:
    • The role involves performing general nursing duties across all departments under appropriate supervision.
    • Recognizes patient rights and responsibilities, maintains confidentiality, and demonstrates compassion.
    • Supports the hospitals mission, vision, and policies.
    • Participates in required education related to DNV accreditation standards.
    • Agency nurses may be floated to other departments where qualified.
