Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor Reno, NV. The organization is seeking an experienced RN to provide comprehensive patient care within a fast-paced, Level II trauma center. The position involves working night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with patient populations ranging from adolescent to geriatric. The RN will deliver individualized care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and adapt to the dynamic needs of a busy hospital environment.

Job Details

  • Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
  • Shift: 3x12-hour Night shifts weekly, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, a minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high-volume, trauma or emergency care setting
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed and to pick up an additional shift during the schedule period every 4 weeks. The organization reserves the right to call off shifts, with a 48-hour notice, based on census levels. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and call shifts is expected. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center, providing advanced care and serving a broad geographic area with a high volume of diverse patient cases.
