Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor nursing position in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment requiring adaptability and clinical expertise. The position offers a supportive team setting with scheduled trainings, certifications, and flexible scheduling options.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts from 06/21/2026, with a shift time of 12 hours and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as a registered nurse, BLS Certification, NIHSS; minimum of 1 year of clinical experience on medical surgical floors; location in Wyoming preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for COVID-19 patients, proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC), and telemetry experience is a plus.
Floating: RNs may float to related units such as Medical Oncology and Telemetry, which handle cardiac drips.
Additional Information: The unit functions in a fast-paced environment with a high turnover rate, requiring nurses to be adaptable and willing to care for COVID-19 patients. Employees are provided with phones and trackers. Orientation consists of 2-3 shifts during the first week.
