Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Night Shift a facility in the region is seeking a highly qualified registered nurse for a 36- or 48-hour contract. The position involves caring for patients on a medical-surgical unit, including medical observation, COPD, pneumonia, infections, and urinary tract infections. The role requires proficiency with Bi-Pap and high-flow oxygen therapies.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; a minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical-surgical specialty; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty; location requirements include at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted; verifiable permanent address needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-flow oxygen therapy and Bi-Pap settings.
Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable with managing high-flow oxygen therapies and general observation units. The position involves working every other weekend.
