Job Summary: A Medical Surgical Nurse is needed for a healthcare facility located in Clarksville, Tennessee. The position involves working in a Med/Surg float pool during night shifts. The role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs across multiple Med/Surg units, with scheduled orientation sessions and specific onboarding requirements.

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, prior travel experience, Tennessee license or compact license on file at submission, BLS certification
Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
Experience: 2 years minimum required
Schedule: Night shifts, with no block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
Certifications: BLS required
Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 08/31, 09/14, 09/21, and 09/28, with no orientation on 09/07 due to Labor Day. No time off will be approved from 09/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live. The facility makes the schedule. The nurse may float to four Med/Surg units and to the emergency room as needed. Ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6, and the electronic medical record system is Cerner. Weekend work is required, and the patient population includes patients aged 18 and older.
