**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - Shift: 3x12 hour Nights - Years of Experience: 2 years preferred - Charting: Epic - Certifications: BLS - Patient Ratios: 1:6 **Patient Diagnoses You Will Encounter:** - Sepsis - CIWA - Confusion - AMS - COPD - Post-operative care - AKI - Trauma - Respiratory failure - Bowel obstruction - Pyelonephritis - Cardiac conditions - Diabetes - GI conditions - Isolation - SI with medical indications **Essential Job Functions:** - Demonstrate knowledge and application of the Nursing Process across various age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics. - Document thoroughly as care is delivered, adhering to regulatory and hospital requirements. - Assume responsibility for clinical competencies and professional growth of yourself and others. - Apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills in a clinical setting. - Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** - Utilize good judgment, demonstrate patience, and implement best practices for patient care as expected by department leaders. - Thrive in a busy, high-pressure environment that adapts to meet new patient safety requirements and objectives. - Proficient in computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic medical records software. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively. - Excellent interpersonal verbal communication and advanced math skills. - Creative problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making abilities. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
