Job Summary: Medical Surgical (MEDSURG) - Surgical/Orthopedic unit in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing patient care on a surgical and orthopedic floor, with a focus on supporting patient recovery and post-operative needs. The role requires collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Kentucky or Compact State License, EMR System experience with EPIC. Candidates experienced with EPIC EMR are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical Floor and Surgical/Orthopedic units.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Those with EPIC EMR experience are a plus! Scrub colors for travelers include royal blue for ICU and black for all other units. Position start date is 10/05/2026, with an end date of 11/28/2026.
