Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position involves providing high-quality care on a medical-surgical unit with a patient ratio typically of 1:6. The role requires flexibility to float to different units as needed, with a focus on patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Two years of current Medical Surgical experience; telemetry experience required; willingness to float; completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course; Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications must be in hand at profile upload.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech Expanse software, prior telemetric monitoring experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have their own vehicle; accurate permanent address needed in profile; ALL scheduled requests must be made at the time of submission, with no adjustments permitted post-offer.
