Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical/Surgical - Extended Recovery Unit position requiring recent acute care or ERU experience and NIH certification.

Details

• Extended Recovery Unit (ERU) on the 3rd floor of a hospital setting
• Will consider RNs with Acute Care or ERU experience
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7PM-7AM
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• AHA ACLS certification preferred

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Returning perm staff applying as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested prior to offer and cannot be requested after
