Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 1:6 patient ratio, approximately half of scheduled shifts include weekends. 91-day assignment with 16 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with 19 rooms serving young adults through geriatric patients
• Diverse patient population with a broad range of care needs including CVA, renal failure, traumatic brain injury, and pre/post neurosurgery
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with telemetry monitoring capabilities on the unit
• Two positions available for this travel nursing assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV management, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Proficiency with central lines, PICC lines, wound care, and various medical-surgical procedures
• Cannot reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
