Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse - Location: the facility. This role involves providing direct patient care in a 29-bed Medical Surgical unit with some Cardiac population and Telemetry. The Nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, communicate patient conditions, and coordinate discharge planning in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current nursing license, minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, and availability to work the nights shift.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Serves as a primary coordinator of patient care, notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Unit description: 29 bed Medical Surgical with some Cardiac population and Telemetry; Navy or maroon scrubs; Epic charting.
