• Charting System: Epic experience required
• Orientation: Included onsite

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong clinical skills in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care
• Experience managing an average patient load of 6 patients
• Ability to work scheduled weekends as part of the contract

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments safely and accurately
• Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias as needed
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in Epic
• Support patients recovering from a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compassionate patient care environment
