• Weekend Coverage: Approximately half of scheduled shifts

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience caring for adult patients in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry settings
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
• Must meet compliance and onboarding requirements within required timeframes

Med/Surg Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care and nursing standards
• Manage IV therapy, central lines, ports, and other common Med/Surg interventions
• Support patients with wound care, oxygen therapy, isolation precautions, and mobility needs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR and follow unit protocols
• Participate in rapid response or code team activation when indicated
