Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse Community Hospital, Days shift. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on cardiovascular and neurological conditions. The role requires the ability to float between units as needed, and involves working in a busy hospital environment with a variety of patient diagnoses.
Job Details
Required Qualifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, CPI certifications; must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, including community hospital experience, and experience with MS/Telemetry, Neuro, ER Holding, and Stepdown units. Valid license required, with the ability to float between departments and facilities.
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/08/2027.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac drips, and providing care for patients with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, and post-cardiac procedures. The role involves working with telemetry equipment, managing IV therapies, and responding to rapid response teams as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, familiarity with EPIC charting system, and experience with specific patient populations such as post MI or post cardiac cath.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must have current licenses, certifications, and be able to complete required compliance modules prior to assignment start.
