Job Summary: Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse position in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a short-term acute care facility, with floating between units as needed. The position offers a comprehensive orientation and involves working every other weekend, with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/31/2026.
Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon state license or compact license in hand at submission; at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing; proficient with charting in Epic; CPR certification; experience with insulin administration, cardiac monitoring, and various clinical skills listed above.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in short-term acute care settings; experience with telemetry monitoring and adult patient care.
Float: Float rotation may be required across different units within the facility.
Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Expected to work in a facility that supports interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services. The role involves managing diverse patient diagnoses, including those requiring insulin and colostomy/ileostomy care.
